- Monthly grant. Misrad HaKlita pays a monthly grant directly to your bank account, on top of your regular military pay and the IDF's own Lone Soldier monthly grant.

Who is eligible?
Who counts as a Lone Soldier?
Anyone recognised by the IDF as a Lone Soldier — whether Oleh, child of Olim, returning minor (katin chozer), citizen-Oleh, or Returning Resident (Toshav Chozer) — who has enlisted in compulsory military service within the eligibility period.
Additional condition for the Misrad HaKlita monthly grant:
- At the date of enlistment, fewer than 5 years must have passed since your Aliyah.
- Exception: Ethiopian-origin Olim soldiers have up to 15 years since Aliyah.

How to claim the Misrad HaKlita grant
To receive the Misrad HaKlita monthly grant, visit your nearest Ministry of Aliyah and Integration service branch, present your ID (Teudat Zehut), and sign the payment-request form. The grant is paid monthly, directly to your bank account.
For Ethiopian-origin women in National Service:
- Those defined as 'lone' (bodedot) receive a grant equal to 1.5× the basic salary.
- Those who are not defined as 'lone' receive a grant equal to full basic salary.
For National-Civic Service volunteers:
An automatic transfer mechanism has been set up: a list of volunteers is sent to Misrad HaKlita, which checks each volunteer's eligibility and transfers payment directly. If you have not received the support, contact the Misrad HaKlita call centre on *2994 to check your eligibility.
